Biology. Forests and shrublands. Adults occur in IV–X ( Dieckmann 1977). On Salicaceae : Salix aurita , S. viminalis ( Hoffmann 1958; Solodovnikova 1963a; Dieckmann 1977; Nazarenko 2009c); S. alba , S. caprea , S. cinerea , Salix fragilis , Salix pentandra , Salix repens ( Hoffmann 1958; Dieckmann 1977; Nazarenko 2009c); S. rosmarinifolia ( Solodovnikova 1963a) ; S. purpurea ( Dieckmann 1977; Nazarenko 2009c); S. babylonica , S. dasyclados , S. myrsinifolia ( Dedyukhin 2012) . The larva develops in galls induced by Tenthredinidae .
