Distribution. Europe, Asia Minor, Middle East, Middle Asia, West Siberia ( Colonnelli 2013)
Material examined. Crimea: 1 spec. ( KUMN) E of Koktebel, Tikhaya bay , sweeping on steppe with Stipa, Guglya leg., 09.x.2009 .
Biology. Eurytopic. Adults occur in IV–XI. Oligophagous on Brassicaceae , occasionally on Tropaeolum majus (Tropaeolaceae) , Reseda luteola (Resedaceae) and Cannabis sativa (Cannabaceae) ( Dieckmann 1972b; Kryzhanovskaya 1977; Colonnelli 2004a)
