30. Boninthemis insularis ( Matsumura, 1913) View in CoL
Neothemis insularis Matsumura, 1913 View in CoL , p. 53, (Ogasawara-jima); Oguma, 1922, p. 102, “Bonin Islands”.
There are ten males and four females, all of which undoubtedly represent the cotypes. One male specimen labelled “Ogasawara, 20. VIII. 1905 ” is selected as hololectotype. Cowley (1934) and Lieftinck (in litt.) are of opinion that Boninthemis should be amalgamated in Lyriothemis .
