Type species. Andiorrhinus (Turedrilus) samuelensis Righi, 1986 .
Diagnosis. The subgenus Andiorrhinus (Turedrilus) is defined by the presence of two pairs of intestinal hearts in segments 10 and 11 ( Righi 1986; 1993). Number of species: 11. Distribution: Venezuela (6), Brazil (2), Colombia (2) and Guyana (1).
