( Fig. 444 View FIGURE 444 )

Typematerial. Holotype (intact ♀, MNHN-IU-2014- 21469 ) , paratypes (2 intact ♀♀, MNHN-IU-2014-21470), and dissected paratype (♀) from Didemnum rodriguesi Rocha & Monniot F, 1993 (MNHN-IT-2008-3295 = MNHNA 2/DID.C/199), Citrons Bay, New Caledonia, depth 3-40 m, Thomassin coll., 27 March 1987.

Additionalmaterial. 2 ♀♀ (MNHN-IU-2018-1916) from the same species of host and same locality as the typematerial.

Etymology. The species name refers to the conical cephalosome of the new species.

Description of female. Body ( Fig. 444A, B View FIGURE 444 ) cylindrical, consisting of unsegmented prosome and small urosome. Body length 2.29 mm in holotype, 1.91 and 2.67 mm in 2 paratypes; greatest width 0.51 mm across region of leg 1. Body surface ornamented with fine spinules. Cephalosome conical anteriorly. Posterior third of body slightly constricted, with width of 0.44 mm; posteriormargin of prosome rounded. Urosome ( Fig. 444C, D View FIGURE 444 ) small, located at posterior end of prosome, unsegmented, about twice as wide as long. Caudal rami ( Fig. 444C View FIGURE 444 ) tubercle-like, spinulose, positioned on dorsal surface of urosome; lacking caudal setae. Copulatory pore positioned close to apex of urosome ( Fig. 444D View FIGURE 444 ).

Rostrum and antennules absent. Antenna ( Fig. 444E View FIGURE 444 ) small, 2-segmented, positioned at 18% of total body length; first segment (coxobasis) wider than long, unarmed; secondsegment (endopod) slightlylonger than wide; armed with 2 small setae distally plus stout terminal claw, half as long as endopod, with pointed tip.

Labrum ( Fig. 444A, B View FIGURE 444 ) large, conical, directed posteriorly, extendingslightlybeyond tipof leg 1; insertion of labrum at 26% of body length. No mouthparts present. Legs 1 and 2 ( Fig. 444A, B View FIGURE 444 ) biramous with unsegmented, conical, posteriorly-directed rami. Both rami equal in length; rami of leg 2 slightly smaller than those of leg 1. Legs 1 and 2 positioned at 29 and 40% of body length, respectively. Legs 3-5 absent.
