( Figs. 1–6 View FIGURES 1 – 6 )

Material. Thailand: Pong Creek crossing road to Muang Kong, Doi Chiang Dao, 477 m asl, 22.xi.2007, 19° 24.774 N 98° 55.127 E, leg. Smit 0/1/0 (0/1/0 mounted); stream W of Bankrang Camp, Kaeng Krachan NP, 30.xi.2007, 12° 48.106 N 99° 26.786 E, leg. Morphology. Female (from Pong Creek): Idiosoma (ventral view: Fig. 2 View FIGURES 1 – 6 ) L 656, W 456; dorsal shield ( Fig. 1 View FIGURES 1 – 6 ) L 562, W 394, L/W ratio 1.4; dorsal plate L 531; shoulder plate L 122, W 47, L/W ratio 2.6; frontal plate L 113, W 47, L/W ratio 2.4; shoulder/frontal plate L ratio 1.08; capitular bay L 132, W 52, L/W ratio 2.5; Cx-1 total L 228, Cx-1 medial L 94, Cx-2+3 medial 38; ratio Cx-1 L/Cx-2+3 medial L 6.0; Cx-1 medial L/Cx-2+3 medial L 2.5; genital field L/W 108/84, L/W ratio 1.3; distance genital field–excretory pore 147, genital field–caudal idiosoma margin 229; capitulum ( Fig. 3 View FIGURES 1 – 6 ) ventral L 145; chelicera L 176; palp ( Figs. 4–5 View FIGURES 1 – 6 ) total L 191, L and %L (given as % of total L): P-1 23 (12.0), P-2 61 (31.9), P-3 34 (17.8), P-4 52 (27.2), P-5 21 (11.0); P-2/P-4 ratio 1.17; straight stout seta on ventral P-2 and P-3; L I-Leg-4-6 ( Fig. 6 View FIGURES 1 – 6 ): 91, 94, 88.

Remarks. Due to the shape of capitular bay which is rectangular at its proximal end, narrow frontal platelets and shoulder dorsal plates which are not swollen anteriorly, the specimens from Thailand agree well with the description given by Wiles (1991) for the specimens from Malaysia.

Distribution. Malaysia. New for Thailand.
