The male specimen of Cerambyx lyciformis Germar, 1824: 502 View in CoL from Brazil (Acc 18522) ( Figure 12 View FIGURES 7 – 12. 7 ) is herein designated as the lectotype in order to stabilize the taxonomy and facilitate further identifications of this species; 2 females specimens, same locality, are herein designated as paralectotypes.

Type material. Lectotype male ( Figure 12 View FIGURES 7 – 12. 7 ) (present designation): “ lyciformis / Germ. / Brasil ” “18522” and “ LECTOTYPE / Aphylax lyciformis ( Germar, 1824) / des. Monné & Monné 2015” ( ZMHB).

Paralectotypes: 2 females, same labels: “Hist. Coll. ( Coleoptera ) / Nr. 18522 / Cerambyx / lyciformis Germ. / Brasil / Zool. Mus. Berlin” and “ PARALECTOTYPE / Aphylax lyciformis ( Germar, 1824) / des. Monné & Monné 2015” ( ZMHB).

Distribution. Brazil (Goiás, Bahia to Rio Grande do Sul), Paraguay, Argentina (Catamarca, Santiago del Estero, Córdoba, Mendoza, San Luís, Santa Fé, Chaco, Buenos Aires), Uruguay.
