Cacopsylla (Hepatopsylla) aralicola Kwon & Kwon, 2020: 140 , syn. nov.
Distribution in Korea. GB, GW, GG, JN ( Cho et al. 2017a; Kwon & Kwon 2020, as Cacopsylla (Hepatopsylla) aralicola ) (KNA, NHMB, NIBR, SNU).
Host plant. Aralia elata (Miq.) Seem. (Araliaceae) ( Cho et al. 2017a).
Comments. Kwon & Kwon (2020) suggested that the Korean populations differ from Cacopsylla araliae , described from the Primorsky Krai, in the structure of the terminalia and erected a new species, C. aralicola , for the former. We examined material from Korea (SNU) and Russia (IBSS), but could not find these alleged differences. We therefore synonymise the two taxa.
