Distribution in Korea. GB, GG, GN, GW ( Kwon 1983, as Psylla (Cacopsylla) mali ; Anonymous 1994, as P. mali ) (KNA, NHMB, NIBR, SNU).

Host plant. Malus asiatica Nakai ( Kwon 1983) , M. baccata (L.) Borkh., M. pumila Mill. (Rosaceae) ( Park 1996).

Comments. In Europe, Cacopsylla mali is an occasional pest on apple ( Burckhardt 1994). There are no reports of this species damaging cultivated apples in Korea.
