Seladonia tumulorum (LINNAEUS, 1758)
Halictus tumulorum View in CoL (LINNAEUS, 1758): MAGRETTI 1885: 300 (Khor Gergabb), 352 (cat. expedition).
D i s t r i b u t i o n: Khor Gergabb.
Seladonia tumulorum is widely distributed in the Palaearctic region, but is not recorded from North Africa. Therefore the identification should be checked. It could be Seladonia lucidipennis (SMITH, 1853) (COCKERELL 1945: 352, 355). See also previous species. The record from Eritrea is not mentioned in DE DALLA TORRE (1896: 87-89) and the species is not listed in FRIESE (1909) and EARDLEY & URBAN (2010).
