Distribution in Iran. Qazvin ( Farahani et al. 2013b; Sedighi and Madjdzadeh 2015).
Distribution outside Iran. France, Germany, Poland, Turkey, USA ( Loan and Bilewicz-Pawińska 1973 as Peristenus stygicus ), Hungary ( Papp 2002, 2006, 2008; Yu et al. 2012 as Leiophron (Peristenus) relicta ), Macedonia ( Papp 2010; Yu et al. 2012 as Leiophron (Peristenus) relicta ), Serbia ( Žikić et al. 2000; Yu et al. 2012 as Leiophron (Peristenus) relicta ).
Host records. In Europe, this species is used in the biological control of Lygus lineolaris (Palisot de Beauvois) and L. Hesperus (Knight) , Amblytylus nasutus (Kirschbaum) , Leptopterna dolabrata (Linnaeus) , Melanotrichus coagulatus (Uhler) ( Hemiptera : Miridae ) ( Mason et al. 2011).
