Host records. Koinobiont endoparasitoid of adult Coccinellidae able to re-parasitize its host beetle (van Achterberg 2006). It is one of the best understood parasitoids of coccinellids ( Riddick et al. 2009). It was reported as parasitoid of the following species: Sitona discoideus Gyllenhal ( Coleoptera : Curculionidae ), Adalia bipunctata (Linnaeus) , A. decimpunctata (Linnaeus) , A. deficiens Mulsant , Anatis labiculata (Say) , A. ocellata Linnaeus , Brachiacantha ursina (Hatch) , Coccinella spp., Coelophora biplagiata , C. inaequalis (Fabricius) , Coleomegilla maculata DeGeer , Cycloneda munda (Say) , C. sanguinea (Linnaeus) , Eriopis connexa Germar , Exochomus quadripustulatus (Linnaeus) , Halyzia quatoordecimguttata Balduf , Harmonia spp., Hippodamia spp., Illeis cincta (Fabricius) , Macronaemia hauseri (Weise) , Menochilus sexmaculatus Fabricius , Micraspis discolor (Fabricius) , Myzia oblogoguttata (Linnaeus) , Olla v-nigrum Mulsant , Propylea quatuordecimpunctata (Linnaeus) , Subcoccinella vigintiduopunctata (Linnaeus) , Tytthaspis sedecimpunctata (Linnaeus) ( Coleoptera : Coccinellidae ), Gelis areator (Panzer) ( Hymenoptera : Ichneumonidae ), Conura spp., Dibrachys microgastri (Bouché) ( Hymenoptera : Pteromalidae ) ( Yu et al. 2012). Tobias (1971) reported a number of coccinellids ( Coleoptera : Coccinellidae ) as hosts to this species: Coccinella quinquepunctata Linnaeus , C. trifasciata Linnaeus , C. septempunctata (Linnaeus) , Harmonia axyridis (Pallas) , Propylea quatuordecimpunctata (Linnaeus) , Hippodamia amoena (Faldermann) , Brumus octosignatus (Gebler) . Adult parasitoid of Coccinella septempunctata Linnaeus ( Coleoptera : Coccinellidae ) ( Beardsley 1961; Bagheri 1998), and Hippodamia variegata (Goeze) ( Coleoptera : Coccinellidae ) ( Tobias 1971; Tavoosi Ajvad et al. 2014). It was also reared from Coelophora inaequalis (Fabricius) ( Coleoptera : Coccinellidae ) in Hawaii ( Beardsley 1961). In Australia, it was reported from Hippodamia convergens Guérin-Méneville , H. quinquesignata (Kirby) , Coccinella californica (Mannerheim) , Coleomegilla maculata De Geer , Cycloneda sanguinea (Linnaeus) , C. trifasciata juliana Mulsant ( Coleoptera : Coccinellidae ) ( Parrott 1953). In Brazil, it has been reported in association with coccinellid species Coleomegilla maculata De Geer , Eriopis connexa (Germar) and Olla v-nigrum (Mulsant) ( Silva et al. 2012) . Gravena (1978) and Santos & Pinto (1981) have reported this species as a larval, pupal and adult parasitoid from Cycloneda sanguinea (Linnaeus) ( Coleoptera : Coccinellidae ), and also on Curculionidae ( Hodek 1973) . In China it has been reported from Coccinella septempunctata Linnaeus (Chen and van Achterberg 1997).
