Eupithecia mima Mironov, 1989 View in CoL
( Fig. 1 View FIGURES 1 – 8 )
Eupithecia mima Mironov, 1989 , Vestnik Zoologii 1989 (3): 14, figs 3a–d. Holotype ♀ (ZISP, examined), Mongolia: Bayan- Khongor aimak, 140 km S of Shine-Dzhinsta, Ekhin-Gol Oasis.
This species from the “ ultimaria ” group has previously been recorded from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Pakistan and Mongolia. It is externally very similar to E. minusculata , but distinguished by the longer aedeagus in the male genitalia and the presence of a short row of spines in the corpus bursae between the base of the ductus seminalis and the colliculum in the female genitalia. The holotype of E. mima was illustrated in Mironov, Galsworthy and Ratzel (2008a). Male and female genitalia are illustrated in figs. 20 and 27 respectively. Mongolia (aimags): Bayan-Khongor, Govi-Altai.
