Eupithecia rubeni Viidalepp, 1976 , Nasekomye Mongolii 4: 390, figs 16, 30–33. Holotype ♂ (IAET, examined), USSR [ Russia]: Tuvinskaya ASSR [Tuva], near Kyzyl town.
Eupithecia propria Vojnits, 1977 View in CoL , Acta zoologica Academiae Scientiarum Hungaricae 23 (3–4): 465, figs 3, 5. Holotype ♂ (TTM, examined), Mongolia: Uvs aimak, Chöndlön gol river, 32 km NW of Ulaangom, 1200 m (synonymised in Viidalepp & Mironov, 1990).
This Asian species is known from Russia (Southern Siberia: Tuva, Transbaikalia), Mongolia and China (Inner Mongolia). It was described from the territory of Mongolia as E. propria Vojnits. View in CoL Mongolia (aimags): Dornod, Tuv, Uvs.
