Perennial with slender, branched, woody stock; flowering stems 10-25 cm, erect, simple, puberulent and patent-setose, the setae 1-3 mm. Leaves 20-70 x 4-10 mm, linear- or oblong-lanceolate, puberulent and setose. Inflorescence simple or with few short branches; pedicels 5-8 mm; bracts not exceeding calyx. Calyx 10-15 mm in flower, 12—16 mm in fruit. Corolla 16-21 mm, pale yellow tinged with purple, glabrous, c. 1 | times as long as calyx. Nutlets c. 5 mm, smooth. 2« = 14. C. & S.
