Sect. Chondrophyllae Bunge . Leaves up to 1 cm, not crowded towards the base of the stem; stems with solitary, terminal flowers. Calyx herbaceous, with 5 teeth. Corolla obconical, plicate, 5-lobed, the appendage inthe sinus almost as long as the corolla-lobes. Anthers free. Seeds unwinged.
