Stems (15—)50—150 cm, slightly twining, puberulent. Leaves 5-9 x 2-3 cm, ovate-lanceolate, long-acuminate; veins and mar gins ciliate. Petioles 5-10 mm. Cymes 6- to 10-flowered; peduncles 5-10 mm. Calyx-lobes oblong. Corolla 5-7 mm in diameter, greenish-yellow; lobes ovate-oblong, with straight hairs on upper surface. Corona-membrane c. £ as long as the seg ments, minutely toothed; lobes sessile. Follicles c. 5 *5 x 0-8 cm,
fusiform, glabrous. Scrub.
