Branched from the lowest nodes (very rarely simple). Internodes 4—9(—11). Corolla (14—)16—18 (-22) mm, usually 5-merous, dull purple, blue, pink or whitish; lobes erecto-patent at anthesis. Throughout the range o f the species, except for Iceland and N. Scotland.
