Like 1 but usually procumbent; branches grey; leaves 5-1 5x1-2 mm, glabrous and green or greyishtomentose; indumentum on peduncle, pedicels and calyx with both stellate and long, simple, glandular hairs. Calcareous rocks. S. Spain. Hs. (N. Africa.)

Variable in leaf-indumentum. Coastal plants tend to be densely stellate-tomentose while mountain plants are glabrous.
