Plant pubescent to hirsute; stems with conspicuous axillary fascicles of leaves. Lower leaves ovate, the upper linear. Verticillasters with 1-4 flowers; peduncles divaricate. Corolla-tube 4-6 mm longer than calyx-tube. Flowering in spring. Nutlets obtuse. Calcicole. S. Italy, Sicilia.
