Stems 15- 80 cm, densely white-lanate-tomentose. Leaves (6-)30-100 x (3-)15-40 mm, the lower oblong-spathulate, the upper elliptical, all attenuate at base and very densely white-sericeous-lanate. Calyx 8-12 mm; teeth c. | as long as tube. Corolla 15-25 mm. Turkey-in-Europe (V. of Istanbul); widely cultivated for ornament and locally naturalized. Tu [Ga]. (5. W. Asia.)
