Erect, densely deflexed-hirsute perennial c. 50 cm. Leaves 20-40 x 10-20 mm, oblong-ovate or ovate, cordate or truncate at base, crenate-serrate, pubescent. Verticillasters 4- to 10-flowered. Calyx c. 10 mm, with sessile glands; lower 2 teeth c. 5 mm, about as long as tube; upper 3 teeth 2-3 mm and connate at base. Corolla 15-20 mm, pale yellow, pubescent; upper lip 4-5 mm; lower lip 7-10 mm. Rocky places. • S. & E. Bulgaria; W. Jugoslavia and Albania. Al Bu Ju.
