Leaves 20-35(-45) x 12-25(-30) mm, crenate-serrate with 5-9 teeth on each side. Cymes (5-) 10- to 20-flowered; peduncle 8-22 mm; secondary branches 5-10 mm. Upper calyx-teeth 0-7-1-5 mm, narrowly triangular. 2« = 24. Mountains o f S. & S.C. Europe.
