White tomentose-lanate or sericeous-lanate perennial up to 20 cm. Lower leaves 10-15x 4-8 mm, oblong- to obovate-spathulate, entire. Verticillasters 5-10, c. 6-flowered, mostly crowded into a dense spike. Lower bracts 8- 15 x 4 -5 mm, exceeding calyx, ovate-oblong to cordate-triangular, subentire or with 4-6 teeth near the base. Calyx 7-8 mm, with a ring ofhairs inside. Corolla 8-10 mm, purple. Crevices of calcareous rocks. • S.E. Spain (near Vêlez Rubio). Hs.
