Stems 18-50 cm, glabrous. Basal leaves (7—) 12—18(—22) x (l-)2-3-5 cm, lanceolate to narrowly ovate, glabrous; cauline leaves smaller, the upper cuneate to cordate, sessile, with sub-lanate apices. Inflorescence paniculate. Pedicels 5-10 mm, elongating in fruit. Calyx 5-7 mm, villous. Corolla 12-14 mm, subconical, lobed to I; lobes linear-oblong, purple; tube yellowish; invaginations small, at middle of corolla. Stamens included; anthers | as long as corolla-lobes. Nutlets 16 mm. Stony slopes. S. part of U.S.S.R. Rs (C, W, K, E).
