( Alectorolophus asperulus Murb. ).
Stem up to 20 cm, simple or branched, without black streaks. Leaves oblong-lanceolate, acute, remotely dentate. Bracts equalling calyx, triangular-ovate, somewhat scabrid, with teeth somewhat diminishing in length towards apex. Calyx glabrous or puberulent. Corolla c. 15 mm; tube slightly curved; throat open. W. Jugoslavia.?Gr Ju.
The plants with glabrous calyx have been separated as R. illyricus (G. Beck & Sterneck) Soó , Izv. Bot. Inst. (Sofia) 6: 367 (1958).
Ecotypic variants:
Aestival: Alectorolophus asperulus subsp. rohlenae Stemeck , Glasn. Muz. Bosni Herceg. 31: 64 (1919).
Montane: type of the species.
