Indian records. Rajasthan —Sharma R et al. (2011), Sharma V. et al. (2012).
Remarks. Doubtful record. C. acanthina was described from Manitoba, Canada ( Ross 1897). Recently this species is not recognized as valid. Indian populations could form a specific taxon, but we cannot understand this without a global revision of the genus Ceriodaphnia , which is urgently needed.
