Remarks. Valid species described from Europe ( Straus 1819 –1820). Moina easu Brehm, 1936 and Moina ganapati Brehm, 1963 are junior synonyms of Moina macrocopa (see Goulden 1968).

Biology of this species was carried by Kour (2012a, b)

Distribution. Palaearctic ( Smirnov 1976). Its presence in southern India (e.g., Kerala) should be checked in detail.
