Type locality. ‘ Forest Park, Longyan City (25°01′N, 117°00′E), Fujian Province, China’ GoogleMaps .

Material examined. CZY/1 China, Fujian, Quanzhou City (泉州市), Mt . Gongya (贡鸭山), 2019-viii-21-23, 117°24ʹ20”E, 24°55ʹ44”N, 1000 m, leg . Remarks. The type specimens deposited in Fuzhou and Beijing were unavailable for study. In comparing with typical Coptocheilus longyanensis from Mt. Gongya ( Figure 2 View Figure 2 (a)), the specimen from Mt. Zhufeng has dense crisscross colour bands and a light orangish outer peristome ( Figure 2 View Figure 2 (c)), the specimens from Shuyang Village and Zhangji Village have more bulging whorls and more strongly thickened peristome, especially, specimens from Zhangji Village have very small shells (H <15 mm) ( Figure 2 View Figure 2 (b,d–e)). But in my opinion, these features cannot be diagnostic characteristics of differentiated species in the current research stage. Molecular analysis and morphological study of the soft parts of this species should be conducted to reveal any reproductive differences and that genetic relationship between the typical form and variants from Mt. Zhufeng, Shuyang Village and Zhangji Village.

Distribution. CHINA: Fujian (Wuyi mountains/Bohea), Zhejiang (Wenzhou) and Guangdong (Meizhou City)
