COMMENTS: No type was designated in the original description, with the type series comprising two female specimens from Kolombangara. Hartert (1920: 500) listed as type of feminina Meek’s specimen number 2850, thereby designating it the lectotype. The paralectotype is AMNH 653152 (Meek no. 2837), collected on 6 March 1901.
