Myiagra rufigula colonus Hartert, 1897c 266 (Djampea and Kalao).

LECTOTYPE: AMNH 653320 , adult male, collected on Tanahdjampea (5 Djampea) Island, 07.05S, 120.42E ( White and Bruce, 1986: 491), Indonesia, in December 1895, by Alfred Everett. From the Rothschild Collection.

COMMENTS: Hartert did not designate a type in the original description. Later, he ( Hartert, 1920: 500) listed as type of colonus the single male from Tanahdjampea, thereby designating it the lectotype. Paralectotypes are: AMNH 653321–653323, females from Tanahdjampea, AMNH 653324, male, and AMNH 653325, female, from Kalao, all collected by Everett in December 1895. This nominal subspecies was not listed by Watson et al. (1986c: 522).
