COMMENT: Semnopithecus and Trachypithecus were recognized as valid genera by Hooijer, 1962, Zool. Meded. Rijks. Mus. Nat. Hist. Leiden, No. 55:20-24; but see Thorington and Groves, 1970:629-647. Szalay and Delson, 1979:402 included these and Kasi as subgenera.
