Diagnosis. Readily recognized by the flattened lanceolate-sericeous setae on the dorsum; head and body broad; hind tibia spotted at base of tibial spines; endosoma with or without a median spine-like process; secondary gonophore semicircular on the inner surface, with group of glassy spicules subtending distally. Detailed diagnoses are provided by Schuh and Menard (2011).
