Material studied. 1 specimen from Natal, Durban, South Africa MNHN 2567.
Length 3.1 mm.
The studied specimen seems to have been damaged after being flattened for observation under light microscope ( Fig. 5 View FIGURE 5 A). Central rod absent; only the small ovoid knob of the mediotergal apodeme visible. No frontal, lateral or posterior branches. First tergite not visible. Following tergites convex posteriorly. Lateral macrochaetae of moderate length and not very conspicuous, those of some tergites apparently broken. Cuticle of all tergites glabrous, with a mesh pattern and lateral lines in the anterior part of some tergites ( Fig. 5 View FIGURE 5 A). Cerci and trichobothria not visible.
