Tripogon lisboae Stapf (1892: 84) View in CoL .
Lectotype (designated here): –– INDIA, Bombay District , December 1891, Lisboa 03 ( K barcode K000245013 !), Fig. 2 View FIGURE 2 .
Notes:–– Stapf (1892) described Tripogon lisboae based on specimens collected from India. He cited the four specimens in the protologue as “ India, from Canara and Mysore to Mt. Abu: Canara and Mysore, Law; Bombay Presidency, Lisboa; on rocks near the Carley Coves, near Poonah, Jacquemont, 581; Rajputana, Mt. Abu, on rocks, Duthie, 6788”. The search for the original materials in various herbaria (B, BLAT, BSI, BSID, C, CAL, CALI, E, K, MH, P, RHT, W) revealed the existence of four sheets at K herbarium (K000245013!, K000245014!, K000245015!, K000245016!). Among them, the sheet (barcode K000245013) from India with the drawings of dissected floral parts with annotations by the author which matches perfectly with the original description is selected here as the lectotype of T. lisboae .
