* Solatisonax pozsgayae n. sp. View in CoL — Kovács et al. 2023: 40, figs 104–106.

Type material. Holotype: PAL 2022.52, SL: 7.2 mm, MD: 15.1 mm, lower Ottnangian , Parádfürdö, Ilona Valley ( Hungary); Figs 11C View FIGURE 11 1 –C View FIGURE 1 3 View FIGURE 3 .

Revised description. Medium-sized, solid, lenticular shell of about four teleoconch whorls with moderately low conical spire. Earliest whorls not preserved. SSC broad, indistinct; three convex MCs; UPC and LPC with two weak spiral cords intercalated; all spiral cords densely beaded. Periphery angulated with prominent, beaded keel, formed by LPC. Base weakly concave below keel, weakly convex below. Two narrow spiral cords intercalated between LPC and moderately prominent IPC. Basal field with four slightly wider spiral cords. Umbilical area and aperture covered by sediment.

Discussion. This species is poorly understood because the only available specimen is not well preserved, and the sculpture is somewhat abraded. Of the herein described species, only Nipteraxis exmoniliferus (Sacco, 1892) is superficially similar but is smaller and differs in its more prominent beads and dorsal and basal sides.

Paleoecology. The assemblage from Parádf̧rd̂ ( Hungary) as described by Kovács et al. (2023) points to shallow marine environments.

Distribution. Only known from the Ottnangian (mid-Burdigalian) of the Central Paratethys Sea.

Central Paratethys Sea. Ottnangian (Early Miocene): Early Miocene North Hungarian Basin: Parádf̧rd̂ ( Hungary) ( Kovács et al. 2023).
