Spotback Scorpionfish. To 57 cm (22.4 in) TL ( Robertson and Allen 2002). Isla de Cedros, central Baja California (Personal communication: Scripps Institution of Oceanography Fish Collection, La Jolla, California) to Peru ( Zeballos Flor et al. 1998) , including southwest part of Gulf of California, Islas Revillagigedo ( Robertson and Allen 2002), and Islas Galápagos ( McCosker and Rosenblatt 2010).
