Distribution: Palearctic: Austria, China (Neimenggu), Corsica, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Israel, Poland, Sicily, Turkey *, Ukraine.

Habits: Several adult specimens were collected from a military training ground S of Toruń, N Poland, in area

200 µm

with many sandy dunes with numerous nests of sphecids Bembecinus tridens (Fabricius, 1781) , Bembix rostrata (Linnaeus, 1758) , and Mimesa bicolor (Jurine, 1807) , and pompilid wasp Pompilius cinereus (Fabricius, 1775) ( Szpila and Pape, 2005) .
