Microchelonusconstrictus Papp, 1999: 185 f, typelocality: Argentina, BuenosAires, RamosMejia, femaleholotypeandtwofemaleparatypesinHNHM; examined.

Emendated features to the original description (Papp l.c.) –fBody 3–3.3 mm long. Scape thick, 2.1 timesaslongasbroad ( Fig. 133 View Figs 128–139 ). Eyeindorsalviewone- thirdlongerthantemple, templerounded ( Fig. 135 View Figs 128–139 ). Hindfemurthick, 2.5 timesaslongasbroadmedially ( Fig. 136 View Figs 128–139 ). Fore wing: pterostigma 2.5 times as long as wide, issuing r from its middle, 1–R1 0.7 times aslongaspterostigma ( Fig. 137 View Figs 128–139 ). Carapaceindorsalview 1.9 timesaslongasbroadjust posteriorlyfromitsmiddle, longitudinallystrio-rugose, apicallyrugo-rugulose ( Fig. 138 View Figs 128–139 ).

Distribution – Argentina.

Taxonomicposition – Inthekeytothefemale Microchelonus species M. constrictus runs to M. brasiliensis (Brues) , see couplets 92 (95) – 94 (93). In the originaldescription M. constrictus isrelatedto M. paullus and M. townsendi (Viereck) ( PAPP 1999: 187) .
