Based on Polypodium reductum Alderw. View in CoL , Nova Guinea 14: 41 (1924). Type :— INDONESIA. Indonesian New Guinea: mountain ridge near Doorman summit, 1420 m, 7 October 1920, Lam 1550 (lectotype BO!, chosen by Parris (1983); isolectotypes BM!, K!, L!, MICH!, UC!) .
