Summary. Harpactus vedicus Nesterov, 1994 is resurrected from synonymy of H. elegans ( Lepeletier de Saint Fargeau, 1832) . A new synonymy is proposed for Harpactus vedicus Nesterov, 1994 = H. transcaucasicus Nemkov, 1994 , syn. n.
