Subgenus Trichocera Meigen, 1803 View in CoL View at ENA
The nominotypical subgenus was characterized by J. Starý (1998). The main features are found in aedeagal complex, which has short and basally arched parameres that slightly exceed length of aedeagus and more or less fused with each other to produce membranous roof of aedeagus.
