Description. Length (including wings): male 5.7 mm.
Body brownish. Ocelli transparent, surrounded by black; face basally brownish, medially yellowish; frontoclypeus and anteclypeus mainly yellowish, apex of anteclypeus brownish; lora and gena dark brown ( Fig. 2 View FIGURE 2 D). Pronotum brown, with yellowish brown stripes, posterior margin black. Mesoscutum basal triangles brown, with small inner triangles, black; disc dark brown ( Fig. 2 View FIGURE 2 C). Forewing brownish hyaline, veins dark brown.
Pygofer posterodorsal angle triangular, incurved, hook-like, with several small and stout setae ( Figs. 4 View FIGURE 4 A–B). Subgenital plate slender, with several hairlike setae on dorsal margin. Style with middle part with several setae laterally. Aedeagus curved, with pair of long, thin, curved apical processes; shaft cylindrical, straight; gonopore apical on ventral surface; dorsal apodeme wide and short in lateral view; preatrium long ( Figs. 4 View FIGURE 4 D–E).
Etymology. The specific name refers to the aedeagal shaft with a pair of processes.
Specimen examined. Holotype: ♂, CHINA, Yunnan Prov., Menglun , 19. v. 1991, coll. Wang Yinglun & Tian Rungang ( NWAFU).
Remarks. This new species is very similar to the type species in the color of the head and pronotum, and the shape of style. However, it can be distinguished from the type species by the aedeagal shaft processes.
