Type host: Corvus splendens Vieillot.
Type locality: Nepal.
Type material: Holotype male (labelled as “ TYPE ”) and allotype female deposited in the NHML [slide NHML010670869 View Materials ] from the Meinertzhagen collection [9313] and 30 paratypes (five males and 25 females) also in the NHML [slides NHML010670870–72 View Materials , NHML010709098–100 View Materials , NHML010709102 View Materials , NHML010709104–106 View Materials ].
