Current status: Priceiella (Priceiella) mahrastran ( Ansari, 1956g) ; Gustafsson & Bush 2017: 175, 349, 363, 386, 436.
Type host: Turdoides somervillei (Skyes) = Turdoides striata somervillei (Skyes) .
Type locality: Mumbai [as Bombay] India .
Type material: Holotype male, allotype female and 10 paratypes (three males and seven females) on one slide deposited in the NHML [slide NHML010670708 View Materials ] from the Meinertzhagen collection [8442–8443] and two paratypes (one male and one female) also in the NHML [slide NHML010708921 View Materials ]. Gustafsson & Bush (2017) consistently misspelt the species name as “ mahrastan ”.
