Type material: Not found in any collection we have surveyed, therefore, it is presumed lost.

Current status: Olivinirmus hopkinsi ( Ansari, 1956i) ; Gustafsson & Bush 2017: 201, 348, 354, 362, 433.
Type host: Xanthoura yncas galeata (Ridgway) = Cyanocorax yncas galeatus (Ridgway) .
Type locality: Colombia .
Type material: Holotype male (labelled as “ TYPE ”) and allotype female deposited in the NHML [slide NHML010670662 View Materials ], from the Meinertzhagen collection [4077], and five paratypes (two males and three females) also in the NHML [slides NHML010708774–6 View Materials ].
