Material examined: Canary Islands: Gran Canaria, Aldea S. Nicolás, 1.III.1949, Lindberg leg., Attagenus pseudoobtusus n. sp., 2 spec., J. Háva det., ( MZHF); Ins. Graciosa, pr. Lanzarote , 20.III.1949, Lindberg leg., 2 spec., J. Háva det., ( MZHF, JHAC) .
Distribution: A species known from the Canary Islands ( Háva 2007). First concrete data from Graciosa Isl.
Remarks: In the material studied, two specimens from Gran Canaria, erroneously determined as Attagenus pseudoobtusus n. sp., were found; both specimens were conspecific with other specimens belonging to Attagenus abbreviatus Heer, 1856.
