Material examined: Iraq, al-Muthanna, As Salman - Takhadid, 18.IV.1980, R . Linnavuori leg., Attagenus sp . Zhantiev det. 2003, 1 female, J. Háva det., ( MZHF) .

Distribution: A species known from Sicily, Algeria, Egypt, Libya, Morocco, Sudan, Tunisia, Iraq, Israel and Syria ( Háva 2007). New locality data from Iraq.
