Amarochara inquilina ( Casey, 1906) View in CoL
( Figs. 15–18 View FIGURES 15 – 18 , 21 View FIGURES 19 – 21 )
Additional material examined. CANADA: New Brunswick: 2ɗɗ, York Co., New Maryland Charters Settlement, 45.8395°N, 66.7391°W, mixed forest, in nest of Formica sp., 30.IV.2005, leg. Webster (LFC, cAss).
Comment. Previously, only the female type specimens from Iowa ( U.S.A.) had become known ( Assing 2002a), so that the above specimens represent the first record from Canada. The previously unknown aedeagus and the forebody are illustrated in Figs. 18–20, 21 View FIGURES 15 – 18 View FIGURES 19 – 21 . The Canadian specimens were collected in a nest of Formica cf. fusca Linné , as can be inferred from the ant workers mounted together with the above specimens.
