1. Oochoristica fedtschenkoi Bogdanov et Markov, 1955 This species was described from several species of viperid snakes, including E. carinatus , from Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. The highest infection rate was reported for the saw-scaled viper (prevalence of 4.2%, mean intensity of infection 26, range 1–50 worms) ( Bogdanov and Markov, 1955; Markov et al., 1970; Sharpilo, 1976).
